Plum deepens under light, and the sequin here is chosen to meet it: lilac, lavender and a thread of steel blue, laid in wavy lines from shoulder to hem. Across the hem of the top, two large blooms open in layered sequin and bead.
Each line is stitched by hand, row after row, and every petal is built up in layers so the flowers catch the light from more than one angle. The camisole sits over trousers that fit close through the hip and flare from the knee, and a beaded neck scarf, hung with plum bead drops, finishes the set.
