Pale brass is the gold that stays quiet. The fabric is a soft metallic tissue that catches light in long vertical streaks, so the anarkali looks poured rather than sewn, and the weight is saved for the embroidery: antique gold zardozi, sequin and mirror, banded deep across the hem.
The neckline is a soft V edged in mirror work, the sleeves end at three-quarter length in embroidered cuffs, and the anarkali flares from a paneled bodice to the floor. The champagne net dupatta carries a mirror-work border and a satin tassel at each corner.
