Blush silk and cutwork, like lace the light decided to wear.
Ivoire is a blush lehenga built on absence as much as presence — the skirt worked entirely in appliqué cutwork, floral forms cut away from the fabric so that light passes through in the shape of petals. What remains is outlined in fine zari, each edge caught in silver so the negative space glows rather than simply opens. The blouse mirrors the language of the skirt: the same cutwork at the neckline, closing at the centre with small pearl drops that graze the waist. The dupatta arrives in soft organza — lighter in weight, scattered with zardozi — and falls from the shoulder the way an afterthought does, unhurried and inevitable.
Each floral motif is first traced onto the fabric by hand, then cut panel by panel with precision before the zari outlining begins. The appliqué is then laid and secured, the scalloped border worked last so the hem reads as one continuous line when the skirt opens.
