Gulab Corset is a structured magenta corset in which silver crystal lines radiate across the entire body like the veining of something found in nature — a shell, a leaf, a stone split open. Between each line, shisha mirrors sit in columns, each one catching light independently so the surface is never still. The sweetheart neckline and seam edges are trimmed in crystal, and the peplum releases from the waist with a flare that is architectural in its precision.
From the first sketch to the final stitch, Gulab Corset represents an estimated 44 hours of human attention — just over 5 days of a single pair of hands. The magenta fabric is first cut and boned, the corset structure established before embellishment begins. The crystal lines are then worked panel by panel, each one following the diagonal seam lines so the pattern moves with the body rather than across it. The shisha mirrors are set between, each anchored individually. The straps and edges are trimmed last, the crystal border applied by hand so every curve lies flat.
