Steel grey crushed with gold never reads as a single colour. It darkens in the folds, warms on the crest and shifts with the light each time the anarkali turns, like smoke with a flame somewhere behind it.
The weight sits at the hem: a deep band of antique gold zardozi, sequin and mirror, worked by hand and repeated at the cuffs and along the V neckline. The bodice is cut close and paneled, then flares to the floor, and the sheer net dupatta is finished with a narrow border to match.
