Muted mauve gives gold somewhere quiet to sit. The fabric is crushed so finely it reads as one soft surface with a pearl glint, and all the colour is saved for the embroidery: a deep antique gold band at the hem, the same work at the cuffs and along the neckline.
The anarkali is cut close through the bodice and falls in a full circle to the floor. The dupatta, in sheer net scattered with small gold motifs, is edged all round in a gold zardozi border and finished with tassels at the corners.

- Fabric: crushed metallic tissue in dusty mauve, the dupatta in sheer net with scattered gold motifs, a zardozi border and tasselled corners
