A long jacket changes the proportion of a lehenga: it turns a skirt and a bralette into one unbroken line from shoulder to floor. This one is worked in a honeycomb lattice of fine gold thread and sequin, opening into florals at the hem, each cell outlined by hand.
Underneath, an embroidered sweetheart bralette comes to a soft point at the waist, and the skirt falls in fine crushed pleats in a muted taupe, with a sheer underlayer showing at the hem.
