Teal holds light the way deep water does, and the halter plays on it: domed stones and sequin florals gathered at a high collar, then a field of fine teal bead that thins, row by row, into cut silver crystal.
Each stone is set by hand, and the tiers of crystal chain at the hem are strung and attached one by one. Below, the teal satin skirt is pleated at the waist and draped at the hip, and a ruffle of sheer organza falls from a single shoulder, catching the same green-blue.
