Qahwa Sharara Set

Qahwa is a pure satin silk kurta set in deep tobacco — a colour that holds warmth the way earth does after a long afternoon, slowly and without effort. At the hem, two large zardozi paisley motifs are worked in antique gold, their scrolling forms dense with resham and sequin detail that catches light from the side rather than head-on, the way all considered things do. The neckline and shoulders are finished with small gold bead drops — quiet, close to the skin — and the back opens to a keyhole, a detail noticed only when the dupatta moves. The silk organza dupatta is sheer and warm-toned, its gold trim border making it feel like a continuation of the kurta rather than a separate thought. Beneath, the sharara gathers in deep pleats, its satin silk catching light differently from every fold.

The paisley motif is drawn to scale before the silk is touched — each curve mapped by hand, the zardozi built up slowly until the form has its own weight and presence.
