Warm bronze makes ivory look luminous, so the thread here stays pale: paisley and open-petal florals in ivory, pearl and mirror, set close across the bodice and loosening down the kurta. Small hand-set mirrors catch the light between the motifs.
Each mirror is stitched in by hand and each paisley outlined before it is filled, with the patience this much detail demands. A cut-out at the waist, hung with fine bead drops, shapes the short kurta. The wide-legged palazzo is cut in crushed metallic tissue that moves between bronze and gold; the dupatta, in the same tissue, is finished with a scalloped lace edge.
