Rose gold is easy to get wrong: too much pink and it turns sweet, too much gold and it turns hard. Here the balance is held by the foil, brushed in broad strokes across dusty rose so the two read as one colour.
The corset carries the detail: champagne embroidery in gold bead, pearl and raised floral appliqué, each stitch placed by hand, with sheer panels between the channels. The saree is pre-draped and pleated down to a slim bead chain at the hip, and the pallu falls from a wide strap fringed in bead, ending in a single small tassel.
