A camisole is the quietest silhouette in eveningwear, which leaves the embroidery to carry everything. Here it is a gold lattice drawn across sheer net, opening into roses, with a centre slit that lets the top move over the trouser.
Each rose is built up by hand, bead over bead, and the lattice joined around it one vein at a time. The hem finishes in scalloped panels hung with gold teardrop beads that catch the light as you walk. The trousers stay fluid and shimmering, wide through the leg, so the top has room to be the story.
