Dune is a nude net kurti set where the fabric has been given over entirely to resham and moti — scrolling paisley forms that rise from the hem and travel upward, unhurried, covering every inch of net in tonal embroidery that disappears and reappears depending on the light. The scalloped hem is finished with small crystal and pearl drops that hang at irregular intervals, like the last notes of a song. Beneath, a wide-leg pant in matching crepe — clean, unadorned, letting the kurti do what it was made to do.
The motif is traced onto the net by hand before a single thread is laid — the paisley forms mapped panel by panel, the moti work then built up slowly, row by row, until the embroidery has its own weight and presence. The scallop is cut only after the embroidery is complete, each drop secured individually at the border.
